What We Can Help With
Domain Registration
Register and manage .uk domain names through an accredited Nominet registrar setup.
Email Setup
Configure DNS for mail services, including MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for Gmail, iCloud and other providers.
Web Hosting
Point domains at your chosen website platform, hosting account or landing page while keeping DNS records tidy.
A name people can remember, wherever you take it
For a business, a clear domain name gives customers one address to remember, recommend and return to. It brings your website and email under the same identity, whether you are starting a company, growing a local service or launching a new product. An address such as [email protected] keeps your business name in every conversation.
For an individual, a domain can be a home for a portfolio, a personal website, a family email address or a project you care about. You can start with email alone and add a website later. You do not need to have everything ready before choosing the name.
Your domain also gives you continuity: you can keep the same public address when you move to a different website host or email provider, as long as you maintain the registration and arrange the new service. Choose a name that is easy to spell and say aloud, and check that it fits your plans before buying.
From choosing a domain to making it yours
Start by browsing the available domains and enquiring about the name you like. We confirm the price, the registrant details needed and how you want the domain managed. Buying a premium domain means acquiring an existing registration from its current holder.
After the agreed payment has cleared, we arrange the handover. You can move the domain to your own registrar or leave it managed by us. We explain which details your chosen provider needs and agree the steps with you, so you do not have to work out the registry process on your own.
Our guide to buying and transferring a domain explains the process, Nominet tags and the information to prepare. We will also clarify ongoing renewal arrangements and any separately agreed setup or service costs.
Use your domain for email, a website, or both
Email with your own name
You can use addresses such as [email protected] for a business or [email protected] for personal email. Choose an email service that supports your domain, create the mailboxes or aliases you need, and connect it using the settings supplied by the provider. We can help configure those settings and check that you can send and receive messages.
You do not need a website to use domain email. Our email setup guide explains the provider options, addresses and records involved.
A web address for your business or project
If you already have a website, your new domain can connect to the host or website platform you use. If you are starting fresh, choose your hosting or work with your web designer, then send us their connection instructions. We can help point the domain to the right place and check the main address, www version and secure HTTPS connection.
Read about web hosting and connecting your domain. A domain is the address; hosting supplies the website behind it. Email and hosting services are arranged separately from the domain purchase.
Leave the technical settings to someone who can help
DNS connects your domain to your website and email. You can let us manage those settings, or use your own provider. When moving an existing service, we review the current records and plan the change so that connecting a website does not accidentally remove its email settings. Changes need time to become visible, and an existing mailbox migration may need separate planning.
Our plain-English DNS guide explains how it works. If you are unsure where to begin, tell us what you want your domain to do and we can help you work through the next steps.
